Teachers engage in ongoing cycles of inquiry, action and reflection to design units that are informed by AISM’s written curriculum.

Curriculum

Learning at AISM is based on a coherent curriculum. The school plans and implements a coherent curriculum that organizes learning and teaching within and across the years of its IB programmes. The curriculum is designed in accordance with programme documentation and is articulated horizontally and vertically. Teachers collaborate to design units that are informed by the contents of these written curriculum documents.

In the menus below, you will find the curriculum for each subject area in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). 

These documents are "live" and will, therefore, reflect any subsequent changes that are made. Change may be necessary if (a) errors are noticed, (b) adjustments are made based on teachers' refections, or (c) changes are made to the standards upon which our curriculum is based.
